I got a little lippy on a national webinar :-)

Last week I was a panelist on a webinar on monkeypox that CATIE hosted (Canada's Source for HIV and hepatitis C information, also a community-created organization that got its roots putting meaningful information bulletins about HIV treatment out way before the gov't/public health/healthcare systems did). At its height there were over 425 participants! 🙈

Big shout out to the other panelists (who were amazing & are listed below after the link) & thnx to the awesome folks @ CATIE for everything they do, for taking initiative on this, & for the invitation/opportunity-to-speak-truth-to-power. <3

The other panelists (in alphabetical order) were:

  • Alexandre Dumont Blais, Executive Director, RÉZO

  • Marina Klein, MD, Professor of Medicine, McGill University

  • Praney Anand, Executive Director, Alliance for South Asian AIDS Prevention

  • Steven Sternthal, Director General, Centre for Communicable Diseases and Infection Control, Public Health Agency of Canada
